Many of our mills carry a Danish Mechanism called "Crushgrind" which is ceramic, has a lifetime guarantee and is generally regarded to be the best available in the world today. The mechanism is fully adjustable, enabling you to choose the size of the grind, and is strong enough to crush and grind all manner of peppercorns, herbs and spices. It is the only mechanism recommended by the Maldon Sea Salt Company as being suitable for their lovely sea salt.
